The Art of Designing
a Permaculture Garden

What is Permaculture?
connection & community building
long term system & system thinking
energy efficient systems & solution oriented thinking
independent & resilient food systems
How about creating more functional eco-systems as a way to regenerate lands?
We are starting a cultural movement powered by the love to Nature—Permaculture.

Hi, I’m Jessi.
Permaculture designer, educator, and vegetarian farm-to-table chef. I design resilient gardens, grow nourishing food, and create spaces for learning and connection. After developing my first land project in Cabreira, I am now cultivating a new permaculture hub in Serra da Estrela, Portugal — where land, food, and community meet.
Permaculture Design
Creating a
Permaculture Garden
Permaculture is, at its core, about design - creating efficient, self-sustaining, and beautiful systems that work in harmony with nature. Much of this wisdom comes from deep observation of natural patterns, something I’ve experienced and learnt while living alone in the forest and spending much of my life immersed in the natural world.
LAND DESIGN
My vision is to help people transform their gardens and land into spaces that are not only ecologically bountiful and sustainable, but also deeply enjoyable and inviting to spend time in nature. I’m currently working on my first two land-based designs (which I’ll be sharing soon!), and I’m excited to keep growing in this field - collaborating with others to co-create landscapes that thrive and are beautiful.
Are you currently facing a challange of designing your land?
Permaculture Workshops
I facilitate workshops that teach permaculture as both a practical design system and a holistic lifestyle rooted in ethics and regeneration. With experience teaching in festival and community settings, I make permaculture accessible and inspiring for diverse audiences.
As I complete my Diploma in Permaculture Design, I am preparing to offer more in-depth workshops that explore land design, regenerative systems, and farm-to-table food culture. Each workshop is designed to be hands-on, engaging, and transformative, giving participants tools to create abundance in their own lives and communities.
We’ll answer questions
What is permaculture? Where does it come from? Where is it going?
What are the permaculture ethics and principles?
Why is the soil so important? Why does it all start in the soil? How is soil build? What is healthy soil? How can we improve our soils?
Which role does water play in all of this? Why is water so precious? How can we design for future droughts?
What is "the design approach" in permaculture? How do we design a landscape connecting elements with multifunctional use?
